Orion Low Voltage 24V Automatic Double Swing Driveway Gate Opener 24 Volt Kit ROBUST Slimline Compact Design

The Orion LS Linear Actuator kit is the upgraded version of the highly popular original Orion model. With an ultra modern and slimline measuring at only 80mm in width. Suitable for narrow post installations of 100mm. Constructed from a die-cast alloy rear housing for the DC motor and metal gear set and an extruded aluminum housing for the stainless steel telescopic piston it retains a subtle yet modern appearance with plenty of strength for most applications of low resistance/low wind loading gates.

Operations are smooth and efficient using its 24 Volt DC motor system transferred to its steel lead screw through its metal gear set. The end positions are set using the retracted stroke (in) and a gate stop for its expanded stroke (out).

The Orion LS now boasts a maximum of 510mm usable stroke and also two ADJUSTABLE limit stops built in (one for the OPEN position and one for the CLOSED position), the usable amount of stoke whilst retaining the two limit stops is 440mm being each limit stop (individually removable) occupies 35mm of area.

The Orion LS can be used for gates from as short as 1m and up to 4.2m (Farm Gates) in size each gate or up to 350kg in weight each (see specifications graph below).

The Premier SW24 Automatic gate system controller comes standard with a state of the art feature set catering for all types of installations, whether only requiring ordinary residential operation to all the way up to a full fledged setup requiring advanced logic principals taking advantage of the 70% duty cycle.

The on-board display makes easy work of any settings changes if desired and is easily visible in the outdoors being the advantage of LED displays. With multiple Inputs and outputs just about any accessory is compatible with the Premier SW24 system (see the complete list below).

Also boasting multiple safety inputs along with its precise on-board detection it allows safety to remain prioritized for any application. with the optional plug and play battery back-up system you will be sure not to ever be locked out of your property.

The installation process is always kept in mind allowing up to 7 cable inputs into the outdoor weatherproof gate control box using IP68 cable glands, you will never run out of space or provisions for more.

Multiple Configurable Safety Inputs

✓ Obstacle Detection by load This feature is always running and detecting if the gate is stalled under load by an obstacle during its travel.
✓ Typical Photocell Input Terminal to prevent gate from closing on vehicle, reverts gate if a vehicle passes through during closing, restarts the Automatic closing timer after each interruption.

The optional uninterrupted battery backup system allows for continued use in the case of power loss without the need for any user intervention, it will continue to allow system operation including any system accessories for 24 hours OR until the power is restored. The batteries are automatically recharged when power is restored and trickle whilst power is available Directly fitting into the systems compartment there is no need for any additional storage boxes.

If the optional battery system is not desired the system can still be manually release using the secure override system when applicable.

The External 24V Transformer is designed to be installed outdoors or in a garage/carport. The transformer will plug into an ordinary power point and output a safe LOW VOLTAGE supply to the gate system. Being built to an uncompromised and higher specification unit it is capable of a low voltage run of up to 120 meters making it suitable for most installations that do not have a power point nearby to the gate.
